A personal finance PWA to track expenses, wallets, income and savings with rich analytics, charts, and iOS Shortcuts quick-add.

I built a personal finance web app called Expense Mate using Angular, HTML, CSS, SASS, Tailwind CSS, and PrimeNG, with Firebase as the backend for authentication and data storage. The app lets you track day-to-day expenses and income across multiple wallets (bank & cash), manage savings goals, and transfer money between wallets. It comes with a detailed analytics dashboard—monthly/weekly/yearly charts, category breakdowns, month-over-month trends, and head-to-head spending insights—so you always know where your money is going. There's also a lightning-fast quick-add screen with a built-in numpad for logging an expense in seconds. One of my favourite parts is the iOS Shortcuts integration: using a secure personal token and a Firebase Cloud Function, you can log an expense straight from Siri without ever opening the app. Honestly, I made this because I was tired of forgetting where my salary disappeared every month 😅 - so I appointed myself the personal CFO of my own wallet and built the tool to prove it.
